Most areas of health care have experienced tremendous growth and development during the last decade. This has fueled a huge need for technicians in hospitals, clinics, and physicians' offices. In turn, this has intensified a shift from on-the-job training to formal training developed to ensure qualified technicians. Cardiotech Ultrasound School's programs are designed to ensure that graduates have the requisite theoretical and hands-on experience to handle the job at hand. All programs include an "externship" component, in which the student completes an internship under the supervision of a clinician in the appropriate area of study.
