About the Scan Lab
The Cardiotech Scan Lab is equipped with the same professional ultrasound equipment students will encounter in hospitals and clinical facilities. Small class sizes ensure every student receives adequate hands-on scanning time during each session, building the technical proficiency and confidence required for externship and professional practice.
Scan Lab Supports All Programs
Cardiac Sonography
Echocardiography scanning techniques and cardiac anatomy imaging.
Vascular Sonography
Vascular imaging, Doppler techniques, and blood flow assessment.
General Sonography
Abdominal, obstetric, and general diagnostic ultrasound scanning.
Lab Activities
Biweekly guided lab sessions begin in Semester 2 under the supervision of registered Sonographer faculty.
